But as a loving and careful Father, God has perfect timings for even the things He has promised us. It is love that restrains a good father from giving his 10years old son the gift of a car even if he owns a car factory. Hence, our trust in God and faith in His love should help us to wait on Him, believing He has a perfect plan and reason for asking us to wait.
God is so kind that even when he asks us to wait, He provides grace to see us through the waiting time. All we must do is fix our eyes on Him and let Him do the time checking.
In the end, those who wait on the Lord are never put to shame, they are renewed and will soar on wings like eagles. Isa 40:31
This song HELP ME TO WAIT, is a song I believe God gave for a time like this, that He would lavish grace on many who are loosing strength to hold on, provide restraint to those who are about to stray, and strengthen the faith of those who can't seem to catch a ray of hope. That all sons and daughters of God will receive a new refreshing to wait on the Lord and strength to pick up speed and run the race God has called us into as we await His glorious coming.
